Silicon Valley Delivers for Los Angeles: A Night of Heartfelt Gratitude

By Amy Andersen, Founder and CEO of Linx Dating

Last week, Silicon Valley truly showed up for Los Angeles. My amazing co-hosts AJ Ghandi (Marlin Equity Partners), Neda Razavi (iSono Health), Lisa Keith (Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty), and I were beyond thrilled to host a magical evening at the beautiful Rosewood Sand Hill for our Fire Relief Fundraiser.

The energy in the room was nothing short of electric, with 300 incredible guests coming together to raise a remarkable $100K for the California Community Foundation and Pasadena Humane. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our generous sponsors for making this night possible.

A special thank you to our talented entertainers—Lawrence Beamen, the dancers from Menlo-Atherton PTA, and Studio 650—for filling the room with so much passion, grace, and energy. You brought something truly special to the evening.

I was deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support from everyone who attended. The life and energy in that room were overwhelming, and I couldn’t hold back the tears of gratitude as I had the honor of having my parents, sister, and family there with me. It was a night I will never forget.

As many of you know, the recent wildfires in Los Angeles have left an indelible mark on our community. Between January 7 and 31, 2025, these fires devastated over 40,000 acres, destroyed more than 12,300 structures, and tragically claimed at least 29 lives. At the peak of the crisis, nearly 200,000 residents were evacuated, showing just how widespread and intense this disaster was.

Though significant progress has been made in the recovery process, including substantial completion of hazardous debris cleanup, the long road to full recovery is far from over. The economic toll is staggering, with losses estimated at $150 billion, reminding us that the need for support is ongoing and urgent.

That’s why events like these matter. Your presence, your generosity, and your unwavering commitment to the cause are vital to our community’s recovery and resilience. Together, we can rebuild, heal, and emerge stronger than ever.

To everyone who attended, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support is making a lasting impact.
