Get Linked… at Link & Drink 

Over the years Link & Drink events have become nothing but legendary - true catalysts for paving the social scene in the Silicon Valley. Our events are open to clients and friends of Linx, drawing an educated, dynamic, and connected group of Bay Area professionals rubbing elbows with one another. The atmosphere of Link & Drinks is always friendly, inviting, and low-key, in a no-pressure environment. These mixers are hosted in sophisticated and unique venues, where the primary theme is general business networking rather than solely dating and never a  “speed date” vibe. With that said, we are pleased to hear subsequently from many patrons that they were united with their love match at Link & Drinks. It turns out that there are numerous couples either currently in exclusive relationships, engaged, or who have been married from meeting their special someone at these events. Beyond this, many cool business opportunities and great deal flow have emerged from the interconnected people and conversations at Link & Drinks - as they say in the Valley, these events are high yield.

Is this a dating event?

Link and Drink is an opportunity to connect with other dynamic professionals locally for networking. These are not singles events, although some guests are eligible.

What to bring / what to wear:

In the past, some Link & Drink events have been themed, like our "Drinks on the Linx" golf event in summer 2011 and July 2014. At Drinks on the Linx, we encourage sporty and preppy attire. Other Link & Drinks have simply been about getting out of the office as quickly as possible and coming from work in khakis and "blazer off" for the guys and fun dresses for the ladies. Some of our events are outside and so we always encourage ladies to bring a wrap and men to bring a light jacket as temperatures drop considerably at sunset. Since these are networking events, bringing business cards is essential - so no excuses for not bringing them.

How to rsvp:

If you do not RSVP, you don’t get in. We generally do ticket sales through Eventbrite and will usually have a registration table with your name listed. If you plan to bring friends (and you’re encouraged to), they absolutely must RSVP and purchase tickets ahead of time to guarantee entrance. RSVPs the “day of” a Link & Drink are not guaranteed to get in as we close the list the week of.
